Service Information
We are currently open during the following nights:
- Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 20:00-08:00 during term time.
- You can contact us by Phone, IM, or Email. Please check social media for any service announcements.
- We are not currently taking drop-ins, nor distributing condoms or pregnancy tests.
We expect that this service may still be subject to some occasional closures owing to volunteer availability. For now, however, we are happy to be back and warmly invite anyone needing someone to listen to get in touch with us when we are open.
Whatever you’re going through, no problem is too big or too small. We’ll never advise, judge you or try to direct you to an outcome we think best. We’ll respect your anonymity and keep everything you say confidential within the Nightline service.

SamaritansSamaritans are here, day or night, for anyone who’s struggling to cope, who needs someone to listen without judgement or pressure. The service is not only for the moment of crisis, they’re taking action to prevent the crisis. They offer listening and support to people and communities in times of need. SANElineSANEline is a national out-of-hours mental health helpline offering specialist emotional support, guidance and information to anyone affected by mental illness, including family, friends and carers. Their helpline volunteers are empathic and non-judgemental, providing a space and time for you to talk about your mental health, or the mental health of someone close to you. They support people living with HIV and amplify their voices, and help the people using their services to achieve good sexual health.
